*PA Story Bank Biographer: We are in need of 2-3 volunteers who have writing / communications experience to interview and write client stories.
*PA Data Entry Volunteer: We are in need of volunteers who have data entry experience/computer knowledge to enter legislators into our database. We need to enter 253 legislators into our system so that we can begin to build relationships and share key information related to MS. This is a time limited commitment.
PA Advocacy Trainer: We are in need of trainers from across PA to present on the National MS Society’s federal and state policy priorities. Trainers could attend community meetings, self-help groups and other events. Travel is required, but will work with the volunteer to limit any excessive travel.
PA Legislative Liaison: We are in need of volunteers to serve as liaisons between the National MS Society and state and federal legislative offices in the district. Liaisons will share updated research information with legislators offices, alert the offices of MS events in the area and help chapter advocacy staff build and maintain relationships with the official and their staff.
PA Action Alert Ambassador: We need volunteers to talk about, and sign people up onto the National MS Society’s Action Alert system at our walks, bike tours and programs. The Action Alert system is our electronic messaging system alerting individuals of action needed on federal and local legislation.
